Keeping with our tradition of the last five years, there was a SEA of GREEN t-shirts in the 1,000 meter (6th grade and under) youth race at the Ashley White Invitational this past Saturday!  =)

22 of the 42 members of the 2026 Fall Little Warriors Distance Squad took Marlington High School by storm–warming up, racing, and cooling down just like the WBXC "big kids."  Several then stayed and cheered on their older WBXC friends who have been faithful in helping them at their weekly summer mini-camps! It truly was a great sight to see the WBXC family supporting each other!

Those participating included:

6th graders: Ellie Cosma, Juliana Gonzalez, Alex Herron, and Annie Williams

5th graders: Ashtyn Berger, Zeb Booth, Nova Carle, Lara Coffee, Isabella Gonzalez, Lucy Pidgeon, Jo Robinson, Zachary Wilson, and Alma Woolf

4rd graders: Jared Brown, Sterling Harris, Dietrich Hensel, Luka Herron, Jayana Mathies, and Julia Teague

3rd graders: Preston Blankenship, Nora Pidgeon, and Oliver White
