After a slow start, the 8th grade boys basketball team pulled away in the second half for a 44-21 victory over Salem to move on to the EBC Championship game.  The Warriors will take on Carrollton at the West Branch Fieldhouse Saturday at 11:30 AM.  West Branch is now 12-2 on the season.

The Quakers held a 5-4 first quarter advantage and the Warriors only led by three at the break, but West Branch outscored the Quakers 31-11 in the second half to cruise to victory.  Drake Peterson led the Warriors with 15 points including 13 in the second half.  Beau Runk and Carlin Jones each had eight points and Colton Campbell added six points for the Warriors.  Austin Olinger had five points and Matthew Edwards added a bucket to round out the scoring.
