Both the 7th and 8th grade Middle School boys basketball teams secured victories over Carrollton on Thursday. The 7th grade team improved to 3-1 on the season, while the 8th grade team earned their second straight win, bringing their record to 2-2.

The 8th-grade team won 31-31, with Michael McCartney scoring a season-high 19 points, showcasing why he is an all-around player.

The 7th-grade team continued their strong defensive efforts in a 28-18 victory, with Drake Peterson leading the way in double figures, scoring 11 points.

Both teams will travel to Salem on Monday.
