The 8th Grade boys basketball team put together a solid performance defeating Austintown Middle School 38-35 on Thursday night to improve to 6-1 on the season.  The two teams battled in the second half in a back and forth game with Matthew Edwards hitting a big shot to earn the victory.  Austin Olinger led the team with 12 points while Drake Peterson added 11 points and Beau Runk chipped in eight.

The 7th Grade team fell behind in the second quarter eventually falling to Austintown 48-29.  The team is now 4-3 on the year.  Logan Braden finished the night with eight points while Rylan Knipped added six for the Warriors.

Next up:  The team will return to action on January 5th with a trip to Minerva.  7th grade tips off at 5:30 followed by the 8th grade team.
