The West Branch basketball team traveled to a cold and snow Carrollton on Friday night coming up short 61-49.  The Warriors drop to 8-6 overall and 7-1 in the EBC.  With Alliance's win over Minerva on Friday night the two teams are now tied atop the EBC standings.

West Branch struggled to get much going offensively throughout the night as Carrollton started to slowly pull away in the second half.  Gavin Gregory was strong down low and worked hard to get to the foul line as he was 8-10 from the charity stripe.  Gregory also hit two of the teams three triples finishing the night with 24 points.  Kasen Weaver added seven points and Jeremiah Thomas had six.

West Branch will look to bounce back on Saturday as the Warriors head to old EBC rival Canton South for a non-conference tilt.  The JV's tip off at 5:30 followed by the varsity.
