Last night, the West Branch JV girls basketball team used a strong first quarter to pull away and defeat Cardinal Mooney, 27–13, in a half JV game.

Freshman Sofia Bacconi led the Warriors with seven points. Kelly Ewing added five, while Elli Colian and Sydney Lane each chipped in four. Defensively, West Branch was once again solid, holding Mooney to just 13 points on the night.

What's Next: The JV team improved to 10–1 with the win and will be back in action tomorrow for another half JV game at Marlington, tipping off at 5:30 p.m.
