After leading 6–5 at the end of the first quarter, the West Branch JV girls held Howland scoreless in the second frame to pull away for a 19–5 halftime win over the Tigers.

Consistent defensive pressure allowed the Lady Warriors to turn stops into points. Carly Loper led the way with eight points, followed by Elli Colian with four. Alinee Bacconi added three, while Sofia Bacconi and Sydney Lane contributed two apiece.
