This season has had its ups and downs for the West Branch freshman boys basketball team, but they've continued to show growth throughout. The Warriors earned the No. 3 seed in the EBC tournament and traveled to Minerva to face Carrollton, where they had split the season series.
Unfortunately, West Branch got off to a slow start, trailing 10-0 after the first quarter, and things didn't improve as they were defeated 47-24. Jax Rockwell led the team with 7 points. Austin Hawk and Landon Coffee each scored 5, while Bryce Parker added 3. Sevin Woods and Travis Hoy contributed 2 apiece.
The WB freshman team finishes their season with a record of 5-10.
