The West Branch freshman boys basketball team hit the road in search of their third win of the season, facing Beaver Local. At the end of the third quarter, the Warriors trailed narrowly, 22-21, but were outscored 19-7 in the final frame, ultimately losing 41-28.
Jax Rockwell and Austin Hawk led the team in scoring with 9 points each. Mason Cosma contributed 8 points, while Brycer Parker added 2.
With the loss, the West Branch freshman team drops to 2-8 on the season. The Warriors will travel to Carrollton on Thursday, with the game tipping off at 5:30 PM.
