The West Branch JV girls basketball team has had a strong start to the season, and their success continued today with a dominant 54-20 win over Boardman.
Freshman Iris Nezbeth delivered a standout performance, scoring 15 points while knocking down three triples from beyond the arc. Alinne Bacconi also buried three triples on her way to 13 points. Other contributors included Elli Colian with 7, Sofia Bacconi with 6, Nicole Deckerd with 5, and Madi Brammer with 4.
Defensively, the Warriors made a major impact by forcing multiple turnovers that led to easy transition points and helped secure the convincing victory.
What's Next: JV Warriors improve to 2-0 and will play at Poland on Monday in a JV-only game beginning at 5:30 PM.
