Eleven WBXC Middle School Girls and Boys competed against excellent teams from all over Ohio at the Middle School State Meet on Sunday, 10/19 in Dublin, just outside of Columbus! Despite the monsoon that occurred before the race which left the course an extremely muddy mess, the runners posted some incredible times!

Finishing in the top 8% of 213 girls was 8th grader Tenley Stitle--17th place (12:46). By setting this lifetime PR (personal record), Stitle broke her own record for the fastest 2-mile time for all West Branch Middle School girls by a whopping 10 seconds!

Finishing in the top 26% of 213 girls was 8th grader Izzy Cantwell--55th place (13:44)!

7th grader Violet Benner (15:37) and 8th grader Kennedy Fritz (15:47) each set lifetime PR's, even in the mud and mire!

On the boys' side,  finishing in the top 36% of 218 runners was 7th grader Wyatt Turman--80th place (12:56).

7th grader Liam Wilson (14:36) did not let the course conditions keep him from finishing his season on a high note, as he posted a lifetime PR!
