The JV girls basketball team won its 14th straight game Saturday afternoon with a 50-23 victory over Ursuline at West Branch High School.  The Lady Warriors are now 14-1 on the season.

Early going it look like the contest was going to be a tight affair.  Each team shot the ball well early with the Warriors holding a slight 13-10 first quarter lead.  In the second quarter, West Branch tightened down on defense only allowing two points building a 29-12 halftime lead.  The Irish were able to trim the lead in the third quarter out scoring West Branch 8-5 in the frame, but the Warriors put the game away in the fourth holding Ursuline to just three fourth quarter points.

Leading the Warriors today were Elly Biskup and Addison Reichenbach.  Biskup had nine points including a three pointer.  All nine of Reichenbach's points came from behind the arc hitting three on the day.  Cailyn Fritz added eight points down low while Alinee Bacconi and Sydney Lane each had seven points.

The Warriors look to continue its winning ways on Wednesday with a trip to Carrollton.  Tip off is set for 5:30.
