The 8th-grade boys basketball team dropped a hard-fought contest at Marlington, 46-43.

The team was led by Austin Hawk, who scored 15 points, and Michael McCartney, who added 11 points.

Meanwhile, the 7th-grade team was also defeated by Marlington, 21-17. Drake Peterson led the Warriors with 6 points.

Both teams are now 1-1 and will host Alliance on Monday.
