Minerva, OH – After a well-deserved Thanksgiving break, the West Branch boys freshman basketball team returned to action for their first game of the season, traveling to Minerva to face the Lions.

It was a tough opening game for the Warriors, as they fell 48-27 on the road. Landon Coffee led the team with 10 points, while Austin Hawk contributed 7 points and Mason Cosma added 6.

The Warrior freshman team will look to regroup this Thursday at home against Canton Central Catholic, with the game scheduled to start at 5:30 PM.
