After a thrilling win on Saturday, the West Branch Freshman Boys Basketball team looked to continue their momentum with a visit to rival Salem.
With just 25 seconds left in a tied game, Austin Hawk drained a clutch three-pointer to knot the score at 33. But Salem answered with a buzzer-beating three of their own, securing a dramatic 36-33 victory.
Landon Coffee led the Warriors with 15 points and made a highlight-reel play, throwing down his first career dunk as a freshman. Austin Hawk added 8 points, while Mason Cosma contributed 4.
