The 8th Grade Girls Basketball took home the EBC Championship by defeating Minerva 29-19 in what was a back-and-forth defensive battle for four quarters. West Branch led 16-9 going into the half but could not put Minerva away. Minerva made a run to close the gap to four points, but the Warriors answered as they have all season when Allyson Lentz hit a huge 3-point shot and Camrynn Weisent made a mid-range jumper that was enough to finally pull the Warriors away and secure the win in the final minutes.

Tenley Stitle led all scorers with 10 points, and Charlee Campbell added seven. Six different players scored baskets. Coach Lucente would like to congratulate the team on a memorable season and for always fighting back and finishing.
