The 8th grade girls basketball team earned a 31–22 victory over Warren JFK on Saturday, improving their record to 10–1 on the season. After a slow start that saw the Warriors trail 10–4 early in the second quarter, the team responded with a strong 10–0 run to close the first half and take a 14–10 lead into halftime.
Tenley Stitle led all scorers with 15 points, knocking down several clutch baskets to help the Warriors take control of the game. The defense delivered one of its best performances of the season, anchored by strong play from
Charlee Campbell and
Hensley Biery. The Warriors will next face division rival Salem this Thursday.
