The 8th grade girls basketball team extended its record to 6–0 with a 36–22 victory over Minerva. Leading the way was Tenley Stitle with 12 points, followed by Charlee Campbell with 10. The team turned in a strong defensive performance for all four quarters, responding to every Minerva run to maintain control.

The team is back in action Wednesday at Boardman.
