West Branch ended an eight game homestand with its fourth straight EBC win defeating Marlington 40-29 on Thursday evening. The Warriors avenged an earlier defeat at the hands of the Dukes. With the win the Warriors improve to 4-8 overall and 4-4 in the EBC.
West Branch led 18-17 at the half and then outscored the Dukes 22-12 in the second half. Leading the way on the scoreboard was
Logan Hawk with 16 points. Michael McCarney added 11 tallies while
Judah Kutz picked up eight.
Eli Tice had three and Dan Martucci two for the Warriors.
Next up: West Branch will travel to Louisville on Monday for a 5:30 tip.
