The Freshman basketball team won it's third straight game defeating Minerva 40-30 at Carrollton High School Thursday night to earn a trip to the EBC Championship game at the West Branch Fieldhouse on Saturday at 2 PM.  The Warriors will take on #1 seeded Alliance.

The Warriors knocked off Minerva for the second time in three tries after defeating them on January 5th in two overtimes.  The two teams opened up the season with the Lions winning 55-12.  West Branch has won eight straight games against EBC opponents.

Leading the Warriors on Thursday was Michael McCartney with 15 points.  Dane Martucci added 10 points.  Judah Kutz and Logan Hawk each had six tallies while Kolin Kaley had three.
