The middle school boys basketball team each took care of business on Thursday night defeating Marlington by wide margins. The 7th grade team won 47-14 while the 8th grade squad won 45-14.
The 7th grade team evened its record at 5-5 and they are 4-3 in the EBC. Leading the Warriors on Thursday was
Logan Braden who outscored Marlington with 18 points including 16 in the second quarter. Cameron Dickens and
Elijah Kash added four points for the winners.
The 8th grade team allowed only one fourth quarter point to pull away from the Dukes. The Warriors improve to 8-2 on the season and 7-0 in the EBC.
Austin Olinger scored in double figures with 10 including a triple.
Carlin Jones chipped in eight points while
Josh French and
Beau Runk had six each.
The Warriors take on Alliance on Monday at the West Branch Middle School. The 7th grade team will tip at 5:30.
