The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams each played two games over the last three days.  The 7th grade team picked up victories over Western and Salem, while the 8th grade team went 1-1 with an overtime loss to Western and a win over Salem.

The 7th grade team defeated Western on Saturday 30-24.  The team was led by Logan Braden with 11 points and Cameron Dickens with seven points.  On Monday, the Warriors defeated Salem 32-18.  Leading West Branch were Rylan Knipp and Dickens each with seven points.

The 8th grade team dropped a tough OT decision to Western on Saturday 42-39.  Drake Peterson led the way with 15 points while Austin Olinger added seven.  On Monday, the Warriors took care of Salem 46-16.  Peterson again led the team with 18 points.  Beau Runk and Olinger each chipped in eight points.

The 7th grade team is now 4-2 on the season and 3-2 in the EBC.  The 8th grade team is 5-1 and 5-0 in the EBC.

Next up:  The Warriors will finish the 2025 year with a home game against Austintown Middle School on Thursday.  The 7th grade team will tip off at 5:30 followed by the 8th grade team.  The two teams will then be off until after the new year.
