The girls wrestling team kicked off the New Year right as the team finished in 8th place out of 48 teams at the Austintown Fitch Invitational on Friday.

Grace Bates was the highest placer as she went 4-1 on the day good enough for third place.  Abigail Benner placed fourth, finishing 3-2 on the day.  Trista Swanson and Abigail Janosik each took home sixth place finishes.

Next up:  The Warriors will take on Marlington on Thursday at home.  Wrestling will get underway at approximately 6:30.
