Today, the No. 6-seeded West Branch Lady Warriors softball team travels to Massillon, looking to win their first District Championship since 2021. Standing in their way will be the No. 4-seeded Field Falcons from Mogadore.
West Branch enters the contest with a 19-7 record and faced a tough challenge from Ravenna in their previous game, but they ultimately came out on top with a 5-1 victory. Field blasted Cleveland Heights Beaumont in their most recent game, winning 13–1.

What's at Stake:
The winner of today's game will advance to the regional semifinals, where they will face Perry, the Division IV Northeast 3 District champions from up on the lake. Perry defeated Edgewood 5-3 to claim their district title. The regional semifinal game is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, at 5:00 p.m., with the location yet still to be announced.
