Hubbard, OH -- West Branch had an answer for everything Hubbard threw at them Monday, including falling behind first.
Trailing after the first inning, the Warriors responded with a four-run fifth to pull away from the Eagles, picking up the big 5-1 road win.
Hubbard got on the board first with an RBI double in the bottom of the first, but the Warriors weren't rattled. A pair of Hubbard errors in the fifth turned into runs, and just like that the momentum shifted for good.
At the plate, the Warriors made it a group effort. Ellie Tucker went a perfect 4-for-4 out of the leadoff spot and Carly Loper chipped in two hits of her own. Elly Biskup, Tucker, Zoey Carreon, and Maylin Hartzell each drove in a run.
