Boardman, OH -- The West Branch Lady Warriors came up short on Monday, falling 13–3 at Boardman.
Boardman jumped out early, scoring five runs in the bottom of the first and adding three more in the second. West Branch worked to respond but couldn't close the gap.
Josie Milliken led the Lady Warriors at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3. Mati Hawk, Ellie Tucker, and Carly Loper each drove in a run. West Branch totaled 10 hits and turned three double plays on defense.
Tucker pitched five innings, allowing 10 runs—just four earned—on nine hits. She struck out one and walked seven.
Boardman collected 13 hits and drew eight walks while adding seven stolen bases.
What's Next: The Lady Warriors drop to 17-7 with the loss, and will now shift focus to the OHSAA tournament, returning home to host Trinity in a postseason matchup on Thursday. Thursday's Game will start at 5:00 PM.
