The winning streak continued for the West Branch JV boys basketball team as they secured a dominant 44-23 victory over Youngstown East. Though they led only 21-15 at halftime, the Warriors exploded in the second half, outscoring the Bears 23-8 to seal the win.
Grady Hirst led the charge with 13 points, fueled by strong performances in both the first and third quarters. Chase Gee added 9 points, while Landon Coffee contributed another solid outing with 8 points.
With the win, the winning streak has now reached seven straight games. West Branch will look to keep the momentum going this Friday at Salem. The JV game is set to tip off at 5:30 PM.
