The 7th grade basketball team dropped to 2-1 on the season falling to Alliance 49-20 on Monday while the 8th grade team improved to 3-0 with a 46-13 win over the Aviators.
In the 7th grade game the Warriors got off to a slow start not scoring in the first quarter and were held to just nine points in the first half. Leading the Warriors with seven points was
Logan Braden. Cameron Dickens scored four points along with
Jensen Sanor who added four including a triple.
In the nightcap the Warrior jumped out to a big first half lead and continued to pull away in the second half leading to the victory. The Warriors were led by
Drake Peterson who made seven field goals on his way to a 16 point night.Â
Austin Olinger chipped in eight including two three's while
Matthew Edwards added six fourth quarter points.
Next up for the Warriors will be a road trip to Carrollton on Thursday. The 7th grade will tip off at 5:30 followed by the 8th graders. Both games will be played at Carrollton High School.
