The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams once again split on the road this week. The 7th grade lost at Carrollton 42-33 while the 8th grade team won 41-19.
The 7th grade team trailed by just three at halftime and six after three but Carrollton used a big fourth quarter to pull away for the victory. West Branch is now 2-2 on the season and 2-2 in the EBC. THe Warriors were led by Cameron Dickens with 12 points.
Logan Braden added six and
Jensen Sanor had five.
The 8th grade team used a big first half lead to cruise to its fourth straight victory. The Warriors held Carrollton to just five first half points and a 23-5 halftime lead. West Branch is now 4-0 on the season and 4-0 in the EBC. Leading the way was
Drake Peterson with 15 points.
Austin Olinger had 11 points and
Colton Campbell knocked down 10 for the winners.
Next up: The Warriors return home to take on the Western Crusaders on Saturday, December 13th. Tip off is scheduled for 10 AM and 11 AM.
