The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams posted season opening victories on Monday night over Minerva. The 7th grade team won 30-22 while the 8th grade team won 34-8.
The 7th grade team was led by
Rylan Knipp with 12 points. Chipping in seven were
Logan Braden and
Jensen Sanor while Cameron Dickens added four points.
For the 8th grade,
Drake Peterson led the way with 12 points.
Colton Campbell added nine points and
Austin Olinger had six points.
Josh French had three and
Carlin Jones and
McKean Patterson each added a bucket.
The teams will be back in action on Thursday at home against Marlington. The 7th grade will tip off at 5:30 followed by the 8th grade.
