The Warrior freshman basketball team earned its first victory of the season with a 41-26 decision over Salem on Monday.  The Warriors are now 1-4 overall and 1-4 in the EBC.

Leading West Branch was Logan Hawk with 11 points.  Michael McCartney added seven points while Everett Zippay chipped in six points.  Dane Martucci had four points for the winners.

Next up: The Warriors will take on Alliance at home on Thursday at 5:30.
