The West Branch boys basketball season gets underway this Friday as the Warriors travel to Akron Garfield to take on the Rams at 6:45 PM.  This is the second straight year the Warriors and Rams will face off in the opener with Garfield taking last years contest 72-57.

The Warriors finished the 2024-2025 campaign with a 13-12 record but got hot at the end of the season eventually falling to Canfield in the district championship game.  The Warriors look to build on that strong finish this season to regain the EBC crown.  

Led by five seniors, this years squad looks to use both size and speed to wear down its opponents.  The team will open its home slate on Tuesday, December 2nd against defending State Champion Louisville before traveling to Minerva on Friday, December 5th for its EBC opener.
