The 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams each picked up wins over Salem last night.

The 8th team improved to 7-6 and 6-4 in the EBC with a 35-21 victory.  The Warriors jumped up to an early 5-2 lead and led 21-2 at halftime. Six different players scored baskets led by Kolin Kaley's 9 points. Logan Hawk and Michael McCartney each had solid performances of 8 points. The Warriors first half defense helped them build the big lead!

The 7th grade team secured a 27-10 victory, improving to 9-4 on the season and an impressive 9-1 in EBC play. Once again, it was the defense that set the tone, while the offense showed great balance. Austin Olinger led the Warriors with 8 points, while Drake Peterson and Beau Runk each contributed solid performances, scoring 6 points apiece. 

Both teams will look to continue their success hosting Louisville on Monday.
