Both the West Branch 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams traveled to Carrollton and came away with impressive victories.

The 8th grade team cruised to a 43-26 win, jumping out to a commanding 25-5 lead at halftime behind their stellar defense. Michael McCartney led the way with 17 points, while Logan Hawk added a solid 15. The Warriors improve to 6-6 overall and 5-4 in the EBC.

The 7th grade team also earned a 36-24 victory, with three players reaching double figures. Drake Peterson scored 13 points, while Austin Olinger and Carlin Jones each chipped in 10. The Warriors 7th grade team improves to 8-4 overall and 8-1 in the EBC.

Both teams will host Salem today.
