Both the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams hosted Minerva last night, hoping for a pair of victories. The 8th grade team battled hard but fell in a nail-biter, losing 33-31 to the Lions. Michael McCartney and Eli Tice each scored 8 points to lead the Warriors, with Logan Hawk contributing 7.

In the 7th grade matchup, West Branch dominated, earning a decisive 42-17 win over Minerva to improve their EBC record to 7-1. Drake Peterson led the charge with 14 points, while Beau Runk added 11.

Both teams will hit the road tomorrow for games at Carrollton.
