The Warrior baseball team snapped a six game losing streak Thursday afternoon defeating Salem 2-0 at the West Branch baseball field. The Warriors are now 6-11 on the season and finish 2-8 in the EBC.
West Branch was led by
Jeremiah Thomas who picked up his third win of the year on the mound pitching a complete game striking out nine and allowing just five singles on the day. At the plate
Drake Stryffeler had two hits including an RBI triple while Thomas and
Grady Close each singled and scored a run for the Warriors.
Next up: West Branch will host Boardman at 5 PM on Friday.
