The Warrior baseball team scored six runs in the third inning and hung on for a 7-6 victory over Perry in Massillon on Friday night.  The Warriors improve to 8-13 on the season.

After falling behind 3-0 in the second the Warriors responded with six runs in the third including five with two outs to take the lead over the host Panthers.  The inning was highlighted by two out doubles by Drake Stryffeler, Grayden Grimm, and Carson Wike followed by a triple by Grady Close.  Wike would finish the day 2-4.  Also singling for the Warriors were Jeremiah Thomas and Evan Springer.  

On the mound Chase Gee picked up the winning pitching five plus innings allowing five runs (four earned) on four hits.  Gee walked seven and struck out two.  Grayden Grimm earned a two inning save allowing one run on two hits with one walk and two strikeouts.

The Warriors will return home for an early morning contest with Field on Saturday.  The first pitch is scheduled for 10 AM.
