Jeremiah Thomas was lights out on the mound on Wednesday leading the Warriors to an 8-0 victory over the visiting Minerva Lions in the EBC opener for both teams.  The Warriors are now 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in the EBC.

Thomas pitched a complete game allowing just one hit while striking out nine and walking two.  Thomas also helped himself at the plate collecting two hits including a double and an RBI.  Drake Stryffeler added two singles with an RBI while Nick Scofinsky was 1-4 with two RBI's.  Gavin Webb finished the day with a triple, RBI, and two runs scored.  Grayden Grimm was on base three times with two singles and a hit by pitch.  Also adding singles for West Branch were Evan Springer and Carter Thrasher.

West Branch will travel to Minerva on Thursday to close out the series.  First pitch is scheduled for 5 PM.
