The baseball team fell to Carrollton on Tuesday afternoon 14-4. Carrollton scored 13 runs in the top of the first inning on 13 hits. West Branch is now 5-9 on the season and 1-6
West Branch allowed only one run over the final four innings while scoring runs in the first, third and two in the fourth.
Grady Close led the offense with two hits including a double, triple and an RBI.Â
Jeremiah Thomas had two hits and two runs batted in.Â
Drake Stryffeler and
Chase Gee each singled for West Branch.
West Branch will travel to Carrollton on Wednesday. If the game is rained out it will be moved to Thursday.
