Alliance scored five runs in the fifth and sixth innings to overcome a 4-1 deficit to defeat West Branch baseball 6-4 in an EBC game at West Branch High School on Tuesday afternoon. The Warriors are now 5-6 on the season and 1-4 in the EBC while Alliance is 9-2 and 5-0 in the EBC.
Jeremiah Thomas led the way for West Branch going 3-4 on the day including an RBI triple.Â
Grady Close had a hit and a run scored,
Drake Stryffeler had a single and a sacrifice fly.Â
Carson Wike finished the day 1-1 with a hit by pitch and
Bryce Parker had a big RBI single in the fourth inning to help extend the Warriors lead.
Jeremiah Thomas took the loss on the mound pitching six innings striking out four.Â
Carson Wike pitched a hitless seventh inning for the Warriors.
West Branch and Alliance will finish their two game set on Wednesday at Alliance.
