Beloit, OH -- The West Branch wrestling team finished runner up Saturday at the Division II Sectional Tournament, advancing nine wrestlers to next week's district tournament at Kenston. The top 4 placers advanbce to districts.
Leading the way were sectional champions Beau Nezbeth and Gavin Hang. Case Sanor and Justin Marra each earned runner up finishes.
Placing fourth for the Warriors were Jackson McDonald, Carter Day, Kase Stryffeler, Mahlon Fritz, and Cameron Mason. Jackson Shinn added a fifth place finish, while Jackson Benner placed sixth.
With nine wrestlers moving on, West Branch will now turn its focus to the Division II District Tournament at Kenston next week.
