The 8th grade football team defeated Chaney last night 12-2.  This improves the teams record to 2-0 on the season.  The defense came up big for the second week in a row limiting Chaney's ability to make big plays throughout the night.  The defense was paced by Devin Francis and Garrett Turman while the team forced 3 turnovers throughout the game to give the team great field position on the night.  The Warriors opened up the game with an impressive drive that was capped off when Drake Peterson hit Beau Runk on a 40 yard strike for six.  Peterson was able to connect with Runk once again right before the end of the first half to give the Warriors a two-score lead heading into halftime.  The 8th grade team travels to Howland next week to look to stay unbeaten on the season.
