The 8th grade football team captured the EBC championship with a 22-0 victory over Salem.  The team finished the season 7-1 and undefeated in EBC play.  Drake Peterson rushed for a touchdown and threw for one, hitting Beau Runk for 50 yards. Jackson Raga rushed for a touchdown inside the redzone putting the Warriors up two scores to end the first quarter. Devin Francis and CJ Dudley put constant pressure in the backfield while Maverick Martig had a big interception in the 2nd half. Parker Loper and Garret Turman were able to bring down the quarterback and provide multiple sacks for the defense, stopping any momentum for Salem. The defense dominated all year long and did not give up a point to any conference team this season.  The depth of talent on the defense allowed for many players to contribute to the conference shut out. The offense was electrifying all season long with multiple players demonstrating their leadership, toughness and skill at every position. Coach Zane, Coach Swiger and Coach Lucente would like to thank the players for this constant poise and focus in each game. And congratulate the team on an amazing and enjoyable season.
