8th Grade Football Falls to Steubenville 20-6

The 8th grade football team suffered their first loss of the season 20-6 against Steubenville to bring their overall record to 4-1 on the year. The offense had opportunities throughout the game but weren't able to put together a complete drive. Drake Peterson and Joshua French both took turns commanding the offense. Peterson finished the night with 60 yards rushing while French connected with Beau Runk for a 40 yard touchdown pass in the 2nd half. The defense battled the entire game, were physical up front and did not show any quit. Leading the defense was Devin Francis and Garrett Turman. The team will look to bounce back next week at home versus Alliance.
