Beloit, OH -- The West Branch boys soccer team continued its hot start to the 2025 season with a 3-1 win over United on Saturday. With the victory, the Warriors have now scored 11 goals while allowing just one through their first three matches.
Senior Gavin Clemens opened the scoring for West Branch in the first half to give the Warriors a 1-0 advantage at the break.
In the second half, the offense came alive as Dane Martucci and Reed Martucci each found the back of the net, while United managed to break through for their lone goal of the match. Assists were credited to Clemens and Martucci.
Goalkeeper Lance Myers was sharp once again, finishing with eight saves to help secure the victory.
What's Next: West Branch will be back in action on Tuesday at Warren Harding. The JV match is set for 5:30, followed by the varsity match at 7:00 PM.
