Beloit, Ohio -- Two days after their first loss of the season to Fitch, the West Branch boys soccer team made sure there was no hangover. The Warriors came out sharp and never let up, cruising past visiting Hubbard 8-0.

Dane Martucci did a little bit of everything, scoring four goals and adding an assist. Michael McCartney found the net twice, and Reed Martucci had a goal and two assists. Cruz Leone tacked on two assists, and Isaac Biery added one.

Lance Myers didn't have much work to do in net, picking up the shutout without needing a single save.

What's Next: The Warriors play again on Tuesday at Carrollton in their first EBC match of the season. Start time is 6 p.m., no JV game.
