Runs continued to be hard to come by for the Warrior baseball team as they were blanked by Lakeview 7-0 on a cold and damp Saturday afternoon in Beloit. The Warriors are now 5-8 on the season.
Lakeview scored three runs in the top of the first and the Warriors managed to load the bases in the bottom half with one out but were unable to score. Lakeview tacked on a run int he second, two more in the fourth, and another in the sixth to round out the scoring.
Trevor Minich gave up four runs on six hits with one walk in two innings of work.
Drake Stryffeler allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit in one inning of work and
Dominic Fotheringham pitched the final four frames allowing three hits and one unearned run while striking out three.
Anthony Perry had the lone Warrior hit, a double to lead off the third inning.
The Warriors will host Cardinal Mooney on Monday at 5 pm.
