The varsity baseball team fell behind 4-0 in the first inning and were unable to come back eventually falling to Alliance 6-2 at Alliance High School. West Branch is now 5-6 on the season and 2-3 in the EBC.
West Branch out hit the Aviators 7-6 on the day, but a clutch hit in the first and a two run home run in the third by the Aviators were enough for the win.
Charlie Biskup led the offense going 3-3 on the day with an RBI while
Drake Stryffeler had two hits.
Nick Scofinsky doubled and
Anthony Perry singled and scored a run.
Chase Gee also scored for the Warriors.
Perry took the loss on the mound giving up six runs on six hits in five innings of work while striking out three.
Carson Wike pitched a perfect inning strikeout out two.
The Warriors will return home on Wednesday to take on the Aviators to close out the two game series.
