The Warriors early season offensive struggles continued as West Branch fell to Marlington 3-1 on a cool Wednesday afternoon in Beloit. The Warriors are now 3-5 on the season and 2-2 in the EBC.
Evan Springer started for the Warriors and pitched well, giving up two runs (1 earned) in 5.2 innings of work. Springer scattered five hits while striking out two.
Dominic Fotheringham pitched the final 1.1 innings allowing one run on three hits with a strikeout.
The Warriors finished the night with six hits including two by
Charlie Biskup and
Maddox Coleman.
Anthony Perry had a hit and an RBI and
Boston Mulinix scored the teams lone run.
