The 7th grade football team moved to 4-2 and 3-0 in the EBC with a 16-6 victory over Alliance today at Len Dawson Stadium.

After falling down 6-0 to the Aviators before half, the Warriors rallied in the second half.  West Branch came out of the break and put together a great drive capped off by a Matthew Dorris touchdown and a Beau Runk two point conversion from Drake Peterson.  After a great defensive stand the Warriors put the game away with a Josh French touchdown and two point conversion.

Leading the strong defensive effort that gave Alliance fits, was Lindin Fannin with seven tackles for loss and three sacks.  Also helping the strong defense that wreaked havoc in the Aviator pass game were Maverick Martig, Carlin Jones, and Garrett Turman who each had game changing interceptions.

Next up for the Warriors will be a trip to Carrollton next Tuesday.  Kickoff is schedule for 5:30 PM.
